Switzerland, a man's double dial, triple calendar pocket watch with phases of the moon, 15 jewels, stem wind and lever set gilt bar movement with lever escapement in a coin silver hunting case with repousse style ornament, and arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, showing phases of the moon display below 12:00, the reverse with gilt, arabic numeral date dial within a rotating silvered chapter for the day of the week, and aperture showing the manually operated month display, gilt Louis XV hands, 55mm, c1910.
CONDITION:
CASE: Flat spot, band; Dings and pin pricks; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Repousse style ornament with moderate wear; Plastic crystal on calendar, yellowed; Bow worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Dial center reattached; Specks of dirt; Calendar dial with minor scratches, abrasions and losses to numerals and date ring. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Scratches on plate; Steel with oxide and pitting; Balance spring with oxide; Specks of dirt. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Not running, good staff, fully wound, correctors functional, date advances when setting the watch, needs service.
